Unity Singapore: Office & City Guide

Our Office

Unity Singapore is located on the 30th floor of Guoco Tower (also known as Tanjong Pagar Centre), which is the tallest building in Singapore. This building sits right above the Tanjong Pagar MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station, so you’ll always have easy access for commuting. Our office views show a combination of modern buildings and the traditional heritage in seamless harmony. Around the time you’re finishing your day, you’ll be able to see the beautiful sunset as well. Take a look at our hand-made office map below provided by our Workplace Experience(WE) team!

Who we are:

The office is home to over 100 employees on a variety of teams. Some of our largest groups include: 2D, Monetization, Sales, HR, Recruiting, WE, Finance, and IT. One of the great things about being in the Singapore office is that we really love being ‘In It together’! With this special family-like atmosphere, we not only work closely together, but we also love gathering for fun activities like driving out for food, or going for a day trip to Malaysia.

Our office features a lot of cool amenities and perks, such as: bicycle racks, showers and an onsite gym downstairs in the building. Our WE team provide fresh fruit daily for breakfast, lunch catering on Tuesday, and breakfast on Wednesday. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll get to enjoy our 2 ground bean coffee machines — one auto and one manual for those who aspire to be a barista.

What do we do for fun?

As much as we love gathering, we have various events for our employees. With our social and break out spaces which include the Pantry, Games Room and VR Room, we regularly host Game nights to eat and play Switch, FIFA, and a variety of VR games in the Steam library. We also receive free monthly corporate classes in the downstairs gym for those who are interested!

We have special events unique to our Singapore office. One of them is ‘Community work’ where we take time to give back to the society. Here you’ll get to prepare food together with your colleagues. Another example is our ‘Family Day’, where your family members can visit the office and have fun with lots of gifts and Guessing Games to guess who it is from their youth photos. As food lovers, ‘Lohei’ is where we gather around a big plate for Lunar New Year lunch to wish for fortune.

Our City

What to see

Singapore is home to a variety of people from many different backgrounds. This has created such a rich culture, food, and scenery. From ethnic quarters, wildlife parks to modern places, you’ll be fascinated by the diversity of this country!

Here’s a list of some popular spots nearby:

  • ArtScience Museum: Museum within the integrated resort of Marina Bay Sands, it holds large-scale exhibitions. (We had 2017 Unite Singapore here!)
  • Gardens by the Bay: Beautifully designed green space, perfect for enjoying the vibrant plant life and enjoy the futuristic structures.
  • Sentosa Island: Good spot for getting in beach time with several beach attractions. There’s also an Underwater World aquarium where you can swim with dolphins!
  • Clarke Quay: Historical riverside quay, located within the Singapore River planning area. Here you can enjoy an evening of waterfront dining and entertainment.

Where to eat

Singapore brings in so many good options for foodies. Below are some places recommended by our employees.

  • Amoy Hawker Center: Local culinary institution and home to a wide range of stalls, hawking everything from curry puff to bowls of sliced fish soup.
  • Go K BBQ: A lively and colorful restaurant that specializes in Korean-style aged meat.
  • New UBIN Seafood: They offer mouth-watering traditional seafood delights, savory angus teak. One of the best would be the Chilli crab!
  • Hakata Ikkousha Ramen: If you are looking for a ramen place, this is the right one for you! Authentic and tasty ramen, customizable to suit individual taste buds.

Where to drink

  • Dimbulah: coffee place at right downstairs of the office. Cappuccino with chocolate powder on is one of the best recommendations.
  • 1-Altitude: You can enjoy cocktails high up with the wonderful view of Marina Bay.
  • WOOBBEE: If you like bubble tea, here is the right place for you. It is famous for its PI PA GAO bubble tea (mint tea & sweet flavor)
